22nd June, 1pm to 4pm – Make Art and Friends: Children’s drawing workshop
This art class is for children aged 11-16 and will help improve drawing skills. It is run by Fleet based professional artist Satdeep Grewal and will focus on a range of different drawing techniques. It will include tips to make your child’s drawings look more lifelike, improve accuracy and build confidence.
The next day, on Sunday 23rd June, there will be a 2-hour Fleet Pond nature trail for children aged 6 to 10 years old, meeting at Fleet Station at 1pm. This session will be geared towards learning more about plants and wildlife while we walk around Fleet Pond nature reserve. Children will be asked to look out for and identify different species by doing bark rubbings, leaf outlining, wildlife sketching and we may also build some ladybird houses!
Children of all abilities are welcome. Materials, drinks and snacks are provided.
Sessions are £35 per person. An adult (free) must accompany the child attending the nature trail. Please book by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
