Christmas Tree Festival Dazzles Again

Throughout the weekend of 8th- 10th December, St. Phillips and St. James Church, Fleet. Came alive with sparkling lights and creative inspiration when this year’s Christmas Tree Festival invited the community to come and enter a decorated tree or just to come and vote for their favourite tree in this year’s Festival.

The church was full of beautiful trees and the sounds of talented local musicians bringing an atmosphere of Christmas to the weekend.

The competition was very strong with 33 different trees entered by different groups and families around the town. All proceeds from the festival were shared between Step-by-Step, Hart Foodbank and parish funds.

This was a great fun community event that attracted entries and visitors from all around our town, The results were announced by the Rev Carol Dunk at a Christmas Carol service on the Sunday afternoon. Carol leading us in Carols around the Christmas Trees! Roll on Christmas…
