We received the sad news that one of LivingStones’ previous managers and director has recently pass away.

Ron Bartlett – pictured above, front left, with the directors and volunteers at the time, will be fondly remembered by many people who have served or visited LivingStones in years gone by.

Nigel Stevenson, a current LivingStones Director writes:
“I will miss his cheeky humour and love of Jesus. Ron Joined as manager in May 2007 and left in March 2009. He had a great rapport with customers, Sarah recalls his wit whenever she met him in the shop.”

Mark Mabin, a current LivingStones Director, recalls:
“I heard this morning of the sad passing of Ron Bartlett. After serving as shop manager, Ron faithfully served as a director between 2009 and 2015. He was always a source of great joy and humour and working with him was always fun. He had a strong, God given vision, for LivingStones and I will remember him as a great encourager.

When I close my eyes and think of him, I call to mind his wry smile, as he pulled my leg over some issue or other, but he always finished the conversation with a word of encouragement. Our loss is heaven’s gain. Our thoughts and prayers are with Elizabeth at this sad time.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with Elizabeth and the family at this sad time.
